]]>The 40,000-seat Al Thumama Stadium hosted the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022
. The stadium’s design represents the gahfiya – a traditional woven cap worn by men and boys across the Middle East. The Safiya forms a fundamental layer of the conventional clothing of the region. It is also a symbol of dignity and independence.
IDEA designed and manufactured “Urbo” FIFA 2022 Qatar edition litter bins for this project. The metal panels of the litter bins illustrate the world cup with traditional ornaments from Qatar.

]]>Bellevue is a parametric bench composed of 1040 wooden pieces that are in 748 different sizes. What makes the design of Bellevue extraordinary is the wooden sections stretching along the stainless-steel threaded rods in parametric modelling which provide perfect stabilization and harmony among these sections, express an exquisite relationship between elements, and give an attractive appearance to the model.

]]>The most beautiful and luxurious section of Dinamo Hotel, including the Main Restaurant Staircase, Main Guest Stairs, and Skylight, was designed by Alberto Pinto Studio and realized by IDEA. The four different radiuses of barriers being manufactured from stainless steel and the entire structure consisting of bolted joints make the section very unique.

In addition, the facade wooden sections are designed in a way to be replaceable or demountable. “IDEA” tree grilles are mainly used for the protection, growth, and irrigation of trees. They also enhance the look of the pedestrian area, and “IDEA Obra” tree grill is made to fit all those purposes, in addition to an optional light source and more customization options.

]]>We thought about the comfort of the zoo visitors, and developed seats called “IDEA Massive” so visitors can relax while walking around the zoo. “IDEA Eco” litter bins that are made of environmentally friendly materials are placed in every corner. “IDEA Nova” bike racks provide a parking spot for visitors with bicycles.
The wood used in this project is impregnated, glue-laminated, and coated with water-based paint, which is certified by the “EN 71-3 Safety for Toys” standard. Furthermore, we used galvanized and powder-coated steel, along with the use of corten for a more rustic look which matches the zoo’s atmosphere perfectly.
